Canada Tire Inc. (operating as Canada Supply & Tire in Ontario) has played a major role in shaping Canada’s tire industry for 90 years. Founded by Louis Wiseman in 1928, the Company is presently lead by the third and fourth generations who share the same love for the tire business and a dedication to their employees, suppliers and customers.

While Canada Tire began its life as a company that specialized in retail tire sales, it has grown to become a unique tire distributor with thousands of customers, both large and small.

Canada Tire never deviates from its core mission: providing unique tire brands and solutions that maximize profitability for our customers.

Over 70 people make up the Canada Tire’s team at its headquarters in Montréal and distribution centres and sales offices in Québec, Ontario, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Each employee shares the same vision and passion for quality and service instituted by the Canada Tire founders.

Lead by family member Chris Moody, our retail store in Montréal serves as a showcase for our products and ensures that our distribution business never loses sight of the reality of running a retail store.

We are proud of our history and the fact that many of our team members have been working with Canada Tire for over 30 years.
