The Action Contour III is a high-quality truck cap equipped with aluminum clamps, eliminating the need for drilling into the bed rails for installation.  However, for newer models with features such as a high mount brake light or interior lamps, a small hole may need to be drilled to route wiring to the rear taillight assembly in some cases.

The Action Contour III carries a limited, lifetime warranty. The warranty covers the original purchaser of the vehicle only & is non-transferrable.

The warranty pertains specifically to the structural integrity of the unit itself.  Specific components of the cap vary in warranty time. The lock cylinder, lock housing, fiberglass wings & centre mounted brake light carry a 3 year warranty against failure due to defects in material and workmanship.

Gas props are covered under a 5 year limited warranty against failure due to loss of pressure. This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse or neglect.  Window and door frames, remote keyless entry, 12volt rope LED lighting, battery lights, the prop light switch, seals, brackets, locking hardware & screens are all covered via a 1 year warranty against manufacturer’s defects.

Glass breakage is never covered under warranty

This warranty does not cover the following:
• Structural failure due to neglect, alterations, addition of equipment, abuse, accident, off-road
driving, use in competitive racing, vibrations from work or altered truck suspensions or sound
equipment or acts of nature.
• Paint wear to the truck’s bed is normal and is expected with the installation and use of any
truck cap or fiberglass tonneau and it is the sole responsibility of the pickup owner. Action
Car and Truck Accessories will not cover any cost to repair wear to the vehicle.
• Stress cracks to the fiberglass caused by impact.

In the event that the warranted part fails, it is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer as to whether the product is replaced or repaired.

At the completion of sale, it is imperative that you return to have an adjustment made to the unit within 2-4 weeks. This will help to safeguard against issues that could arise after the fiberglass piece settles.  Failure to do so could result in loss of warranty coverage due to neglect.
